Hello!
Thank you for taking time out of your busy day to visit. I, Cali Roberta, am a single mother of two bursting into the fashion world. Here you will find my creations. All of which are designed and constructed myself with the aid of my wonderful machines. Sew....go check them out.
My journey began in second grade when I received my first sewing machine. My love for eccentric fashion grew throughout many experiments in the eighties. In the course of the early nineties I dabbled in skater dos and cow chic wears. In the late nineties I ventured into the realm of vintage designs, all the while adoring the classical elegance of the forties. As my children arrived fashion became a distant dream. My motivation and drive overcame depression and I landed at Birdies in March of 2006. Abundant with newfound energy I create every day, whether it is a healthy new meal, making clean up fun, or trying to relax amidst the mayhem. Creativity has so many outlets, I am blessed that my gift is fabulous functional fashion. |
